ELIGIBILITY

Students who have passed 12th standard from any Board are eligible to apply for BSW Course. The College follows the norms of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya and Madhya Pradesh Higher Education for required percentage of marks and age limit from time to time. Application forms can be downloaded from the website of the college or can be obtained from the college office. Commencement of Classes will be communicated to students through the College Website and Notice Board. Academic Calendar of DAVV is followed.

BSW FOR COLLEGES

BSW 1st Year Field Work Practicum

Field work practicum for B.S.W. I year, will be consist to total 50 marks out of which 25 marks will be for Orientation Group Visits : comprising total 10 visits to various Social Welfare Institute of Non Government Organizations and 25 marks will be for Report Writing. There should be a separate Field Work Coordinator under his/ her guidance every activity of field work practicum must be completed An External Examiner will conduct Comprehensive Viva – Voice.

BSW 2nd Year Field Work Practicum

Field work practicum for B.S.W. II year, will be consist to total 50 marks out of which 25 marks will be for Orientation Group Visits : comprising total 10 visits to various Social Welfare Institute of Non Government Organizations and 25 marks will be for 5 days Rural Camp. There should be a separate field Work Coordinator under his/her guidance every activity of field work practicum including Report Writing (Orientation Group Visit + Rural Camp) must be completed An External Examiner will conduct Comprehensive Viva – Voice.

BSW 3rd Year Field Work Practicum

Consist to total 50 marks out of which 25 marks will be for Concurrent Field Visit: comprising twice in a week (minimum 35 visits) to be conducted in various Social Welfare institutions; like Schools settings, Government departments, Non-government institutions, Municipal corporations, Panchayati Raj institutions etc. As the daily “Field Work Reporting, The students will prepare a detailed “Institutional Profile” Where he/she will be placed for concurrent field visits. Another 25 marks will be for “Mini Social Survey” which will be conducted with minimum 25 respondents on any social issue picked up from the agency where the student will be performing concurrent field work. The analysis report of the survey data should be confine to Frequency Percentage Analysis. There should be a separate Field Work Supervisor for every students under his/her guidance every activity of field work practicum must be completed. An External will conduct Comprehensive Viva-Voce.
